End of season

On Saturday 4th October , 4 SVCC paddlers travelled north to Stafford & Stone Slalom. It was cold and wet but has the advantage of a club house with facilities. Phil came 3rd in mens C1 div3 race. Whilst Rose and I won no medals we enjoyed the challenges of the course and came respectfully middle of the field. 

The following weekend 3 SVCC paddlers attended the Slalom at Symonds Yat. This is one of the most challenging div 2/3 slalom courses. It was a very cold and busy 2 days, paddling and judging. Phil won first prize in mens C1 div3 race. 

This is the last race of the 2025 season for SVCC Slalom team but training sessions will continue throughout winter on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
